Use ratecla.im from your AI assistant
ratecla.im plans to run a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, so an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can search hotels, ask one for a direct quote on your behalf, and check how that request is going — the same job the ratecla.im page describes, from inside the assistant you already use. Nothing on this page is live yet; it describes the plan.
MCP server URL
https://api.ratecla.im/mcp
Streamable HTTP transport. Sign-in is OAuth, handled by the API: the first time your assistant calls a tool, it will prompt you to connect your ratecla.im account.
Setup
- Claude (claude.ai or Claude Desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, then paste the URL above.
- Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http rateclaim https://api.ratecla.im/mcp. - ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode, then Create a connector with the URL above.
- Other MCP clients: point them at the URL above. The server speaks the streamable HTTP transport, nothing bespoke.
What your assistant can do
- Search hotels, including our partner hotels first.
- Ask a hotel for a direct-booking quote for given dates and guests.
- Check the status of a quote it already asked for.
- Read back the hotel's reply.
Exact tool names are listed by the server when it ships; this page describes what they do, not what they're called.
What only you can do
You verify your own card and accept a quote yourself, on ratecla.im — never through the assistant. Your assistant can search and ask; it can't book, pay or accept a quote on your behalf.
OpenAPI
Planned: https://api.ratecla.im/openapi.json.
OAuth metadata
OAuth protected-resource metadata is served by the API itself, at
https://api.ratecla.im/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource —
not on this site.
